Pensions "Conclave": François Bayrou struggles to conclude

Like a living dead man whose hand emerges from a grave the second before the end credits, François Bayrou's pension "conclave" is not completely buried. On Monday evening, however, the matter seemed closed when CFDT negotiator Yvan Ricordeau appeared before the press, acknowledging the "failure" of four and a half months of discussions: "The employers have just closed the door on the three union organizations that fought to the end." CPME negotiator Eric Chevée then amused the audience with this observation: "Everyone expected us to fail, and we failed." It was around midnight, and at the same time, the press received a summons from Matignon: at 7:00 sharp on Tuesday morning, June 24, the Prime Minister would speak.
He did so, therefore, to explain that he does not intend to let his creation, launched in January in order to avoid censure by socialist deputies, sink, by proposing to social actors to re-discuss the reform of the withdrawals
